   SchoolCenter PictureKaufman Christian Help Center offers Help with School Supplies
The Kaufman Christian Help Center along with its partner churches is offering assistance with school supplies to students in Kaufman, Kemp, Scurry-Rosser and Crandall ISDs.  We will be hosting a Back to School Fair where these will be distributed on August 7th at the Kaufman County Fairgrounds from 10am to 2pm.  Participants will need to complete an application for assistance before Thursday, July 29th to be given a voucher to attend the Fair.  I have attached the application and the guidelines for you to distribute.

SchoolCenter PictureThe Kaufman High School Lionette Drill Team Officers received Super Sweepstakes at the Danceline Officer Leadership and Dance Camp, held June 7-10 in Irving, Texas.  The KHS Lionette Officers also won first place in Choreography Division.

In individual competition, Rachael Helpenstell, Tori Harper, Sonja Doss, Alesa Baker, Lindsey Warren, and Katlyn Ford all were chosen for the Elite Performance Division.

What are Summer Nutrition Programs?

The Summer Nutrition Programs provide nutritious meals at no charge to all children age 18 and younger at participating feeding sites. To participate, just show up. You don't need to register or get meal tickets and no one will ask for proof of income or age.  For more information, call 972-932-7912 


SchoolCenter PictureKaufman High School is proud to announce 2010 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.  Valedictorian Shelby Stribling plans to attend University of Oklahoma.  Salutatorian Justin Chambers plans to attend Texas A&M University.

Kaufman High School plans to graduate 192 graduates tonight at Garland Special Events Center.

SchoolCenter PictureO.P. Norman Junior High School held their 2010 award ceremony on May 20 in KHS Cafetorium.  A night dedicated in memory of Dustin Dunman. The theme of the evening "One Shining Moment!"  Awards were handed out in the areas of Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll, Subject Areas and Teacher and Students of the Month.  A crowd of over 500 was in attendance to celebrate the achievement of O. P. Norman Junior High School.
