Family Access to Grades/Attendance:
All parents/legal guardians needing access to Family Access must have a signed waiver on file with Kaufman ISD. For further assistance on completing Family Access Waivers, please contact Lydia Wren through email:
lwren@kaufmanisd.net Thank you for your patience. Click here for the Waiver.

Beginning in the 2011-2012 school year, STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) will begin replacing TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) as the new student assessment program of Texas.

STAAR will assess the same TEKS standards in a deeper, more rigorous way. Kaufman ISD is working hard to prepare each of our students and teachers for a smooth and successful transition to this new program.  Click here for more information.

School Volunteer Forms

August 2011 - We greatly appreciate your service to the students of Kaufman Independent School District by volunteering your time and effort. (This includes lunches as field trips, field trips and other events on or off school campus.) As a precaution, and to make every effort possible to protect our children, School Board Policy requires the screening of ALL individuals that may be with our children during the school day. Please note, there are two forms to be completed: School Volunteer Criminal History Check Form and DPS Computerized Criminal History Verification.
