Jr High Cross Country teams ran this past Saturday in Waxahachie. Both boys and girls won the meet. Scoring for the Lady Lions, Angela Dees 1st, Whitney Smith 5th, Daisy Nicholas 13th, Corina Badillo 15th, Ryleigh Farmer 23rd. Other runners were Lizzie Van Buren, Yesenia Henson, Karen Medina, Cheyenne Archer, Janna Burrows, Alicia Pedroza, Jennifer Council and Cristina Soto. Angela's time was the fastest time in the meet, beating out Varsity and JV girls as well.
Scoring for the Lions were Angel Cruz placing 2nd, Clay Kotwitz 4th, Dylan Evans 9th, Austin Jacobs 14th, Cole Kotwitz 4th, Dylan Evans 9th, Austin Jacobs 14th, Cole White 16th, AJ Hurtado 34th, and CJ Linn 37th.
GREAT JOB!!! Next meet Saturday in Ennis.

Jr High Lion and Lady Lion CC teams competed this past weekend in Ennis.  Once again both temas came home with the team championship in each division.  Scoring for the Lady Lions were:

Angela Dees - 1st
Whitney Smith - 12th
Karen Medina - 15th
Corina Badillo - 18th
Zelia Mejia - 32nd

Daisy Nicholas, Ryliegh Farmer, Danielle Prox, Yesina Henson, Janna Burrows, Cheyenne Archer, Alicia Pedroza, and Lyssi Van Buren completed the team.

The boys were represented by:

Dylan Evans - 12th
Clay Kotwitz - 15th
Austin Jacobs - 24th
Cole White - 29th
CJ Linn - 59th

There were 10 teams in each division and well over 120 runners.  CONGRATULATIONS TO BOTH TEAMS.

The next meet is in Van on Oct 10th.
