Last night the volleyball team traveled to Ferris to play their last volleyball game of the season.  Both 7th grade teams and the 8th grade A teams came away with a victory.  The 8th grade B team narrowly lost their game.  Congrats to the entire team, they have worked very hard this year and their coaches are extremely proud of them!!!

Jr High Cross Country teams ran this past Saturday in Waxahachie. Both boys and girls won the meet. Scoring for the Lady Lions, Angela Dees 1st, Whitney Smith 5th, Daisy Nicholas 13th, Corina Badillo 15th, Ryleigh Farmer 23rd. Other runners were Lizzie Van Buren, Yesenia Henson, Karen Medina, Cheyenne Archer, Janna Burrows, Alicia Pedroza, Jennifer Council and Cristina Soto. Angela's time was the fastest time in the meet, beating out Varsity and JV girls as well.
Scoring for the Lions were Angel Cruz placing 2nd, Clay Kotwitz 4th, Dylan Evans 9th, Austin Jacobs 14th, Cole Kotwitz 4th, Dylan Evans 9th, Austin Jacobs 14th, Cole White 16th, AJ Hurtado 34th, and CJ Linn 37th.
